I don’t know why it is destined that fruits and vegetables are not suitable for children (of course, there are still rare children who love vegetables occasionally), so many designers rack their brains to combine fruits and vegetables to design Supplies or toys that can attract children and make them feel that vegetables are actually very relatable. The product we are going to introduce today – Spredo is designed with this purpose in mind!
This little yellow guy who makes Mr. Corn disguise himself as a submarine is a new work of the Israeli fun design brand Monkey Business. Although corn should already be one of the many fruits and vegetables that children are not attracted to, the designer does it anyway. Avichai Tadmor makes eating corn more fun, and most importantly, buttering and salting it becomes very convenient!
Spredo is aimed at the average person who likes to add butter or sprinkle salt on their corn. It has a double-layer submarine design. Put a piece of butter in the lower layer, and use the curved bottom to rub back and forth directly on the corn, so that the butter can be spread smoothly without touching your hands. Coat it on the corn, and the upper salt shaker design has a small hole on the top like a small window for viewing on a submarine. You can directly sprinkle salt on the corn by gently pouring it.
The toy-like Spredo exists playfully in the kitchen, and there is something that cannot help butStart playing with the feel of food.
The evolution of Spredo, from a rough design prototype to the perfect product we see now.
It is a concept of "Lets play with food!" It makes all creativity sprout and life becomes more interesting. Looking at the cute submarine, let this kid eat corn happily!
