Greek creative studio Beforelight decided to use "Lamp" as the theme to DIY transform an almost forgotten alley in the center of Athens into a pleasing landscape.
Beforelight and the volunteers it recruited repaired and waterproofed more than 150 sets of second-hand lamps collected in a junk shop that was temporarily converted into an open studio, and then created a "home"-like Ordinary, warm city streets. The lamps extending along the way are of different styles, and the lights they project are by no means very bright. But precisely because these lights come from Wanjia, they fill this wet narrow alley with warmth, making the rainy night seem to change. It has to be intoxicating.
