Use your hands to give unwanted cardboard a new lease of life and turn it into a beautiful storage box. This does not require skills acquired through long-term training. As long as you maintain patience, you can complete it with zero foundation. Friends, after reading this, do you also want to DIY? Follow the steps below to learn!~
Materials and tools: cardboard, white glue, glue stick, kraft paper, scissors, twine, beads, ruler, carving knife.
1. Cut out two cardboards of similar size.
2. Measure length and width. Cut two pieces of cardboard according to the length of the box you want to make (the width of the cardboard will depend on how deep you want the box to be). Cut out two pieces of the same width, but the same length as your measured width. Cut another piece that is slightly smaller in width than the first but the same length.
3. Take one piece from the first batch and paste it in the middle of the kraft paper (you can also use any colored paper). Cut off the corners as shown in the picture, then fold and glue the kraft paper to the cardboard.
4. Follow similar steps to wrap other cardboard. Then glue the parts together, it will be a little loose at first but once you glue everything together they will stay in perfect condition.
5. Apply glue to the excess paper and stick it to the box to make a lid.
6. Glue the beads to the middle of the side of the box. Attach thick wire or twine (as shown in the picture).
7. The beautiful storage box is ready. You can also use colored paper instead of kraft paper to make it as shown in the picture~
