Tutorial on how to use glass Coke bottle caps or beer bottle caps to make a whistle! In addition to metal bottle caps, we will also use cans. Generally speaking, it is relatively simple, and the final whistle looks very realistic. You can even make sounds!~
First cut out the metal skin from the can.
Cut out a square (about the size of a bottle cap) and a 1-inch-wide strip from the metal skin.
Comparison with bottle caps.
Make the inner part of the whistle first. Place the square piece in the middle of one end of the rectangle.
Fold the excess part of the square to both sides of the strip.
Roll the remaining part of the strip back into a circle.
Next make the part that covers the whistle. Take two bottle caps and cut out notches as shown in the picture.
Apply hot glue to the inside of both lids.
First place the inside of a lid upward on the table, then place the inside of the whistle on top and paste it.
Apply hot melt glue to the inside of the other lid and stick it on as well.
Finally, use a bamboo skewer or toothpick to stretch out the blown part a little.
Test it a few times and adjust it until you can whistle.
A simple whistle has been made. Isn’t it a great feeling of accomplishment?
