Children can't always buy enough toys. In fact, we can also use waste materials at home to make toys by hand. The DIY process itself is fun, and it can also cultivate childrens hands-on skills and improve parent-child relationships. Today, I would like to share with you a tutorial on how to use empty milk powder cans to turn waste into treasure and make a tumbling pig. Here is how to make it, come and learn.
Steps to make a piglet from a milk powder can
1. First of all, we need to prepare materials: milk powder can (you can also use the same type of can instead), non-woven fabric, four black semicircular pearls, bottle caps, scissors, and glue gun.
2. Put the non-woven fabric and milk powder can together and measure the size. One piece of non-woven fabric is not enough, you need to cut another piece.
3. Splice the two pieces of non-woven fabric together.
4. Place the milk powder can upright on the non-woven fabric and draw a circle along it.
5. Use scissors to cut a circle along the line, and repeat the same operation to make two circles for the pigs head and tail respectively.
6. Use a glue gun to glue two pieces of non-woven fabric to the milk powder can.
7. Glue one of the round non-woven fabrics to the milk powder lid. It is best to stick it to the lid and separate it from the non-woven fabric below, so that the lid can be opened and things can be loaded.
8. Four black semicircular pearls are glued on the lid and non-woven fabric to serve as the pig’s eyes and nose, and the beverage bottle cap is glued on the non-woven fabric to make the pig’s nose
9. Cut out two triangles from non-woven fabric to make pig ears, and glue them to both sides of the pig’s head.
10. Glue the bottom cover of the milk powder can with another round piece of non-woven fabric to make a pig butt. Then cut a long curved strip and glue it to the pig butt as a pig tail.
11. Cut out four pig legs from non-woven fabric and stick them on both sides of the piglet’s body.
12. Use black againCut out four pig trotters from the non-woven fabric and glue them on.
13. The cute little pig is ready. You can fold a bow to decorate this little pig made of milk powder cans and non-woven fabrics that cannot walk but can roll. Friends of all ages can follow along and try it.
