Illustrated tutorial on homemade alcohol stove from cans:
Tools/Materials for homemade alcohol stove from cans: one can, alcohol, ruler, fireproof tape, pin, can knife, stapler, needle-nose pliers, scissors, oil-based pen
Cut the can into 3 parts, as shown in the picture above, we label them as (A), (B), and (C) respectively
Parts (A) and (B) are cut to the same height of about 4 cm, and the height of part (C) is about 3 cm (you can use a ruler to divide it into sections in advance before cutting)
Note: Part B is cut
Put (B) into the narrowest part of the top of (A) and adjust it to the appropriate size;
Then keep the size of the circle unchanged, take it out and staple it into a cylinder with a stapler
Use scissors to cut the lower circle of (B) every 1CM to a depth of about 5mm;
After cutting, use needle-nose pliers to slightly bend the cut part inward;
Okay, completed and ready for use
Since we need to put (A) on the bottom (C), we need to use needle-nose pliers to make the (C) part slightly smaller (as shown in the picture above);
Note that when adjusting, leave 1 cm at the bottom unadjusted to prevent alcohol leakage.
Drill fire holes every 1 cm in part (A). You can use a graph paper to mark the intervals so that the drilled holes will be more even;
Tip: This step of drilling can be done in step 1 (that is, drill the fire hole before cutting the can into 3 parts)
Put (B) inside (C), then cover (A);
Then push down with your hands from above, making sure to push vertically up and down without any deviation;
Ensure that the middle bottom is pushed to the bottom as far as possible without bending
Seal the bottom interfaces of (A) and (C) with fireproof tape
