A brooch, also known as a boutonniere or a brooch, is an accessory pinned to clothing and can also be considered a decorative brooch. It can be used purely for decoration or also to hold clothing (such as robes, capes, scarves, etc.) in place. All kinds of brooches can be bought in stores. Below, the editor of the production department will share with you how to transform beautiful brooches without fabric buttons. Exquisitely crafted buttons should never be thrown away if you love them. Follow the production editor to transform them into versatile brooches. It’ll be a while before you can wear knitted items, so it’s just the right time to wear these delicate nonwoven brooches. Whats more, these non-woven brooches will never be as harmonious as shoes and bags. A non-woven brooch can be matched with all the clothes in the wardrobe. Of course, the same non-woven brooch will look great with different clothes.
Tutorial on making brooches without fabric buttons
- First, take apart the fabric buttons. Remove the bottom.
- Use small pliers to remove the iron ring part.
- Attach the pin to the bottom with needle and thread. Secure the pin to the button chassis so it won't fall off.
How to sew pins
- I will use strong thread. Also prepare a pin that matches the width of the lower button.
- Put the thread through the backthe first hole on the face.
- Place the pins on the chassis and secure with needle thread.
- Move to the next suture hole. Pass the needle from the posterior side to the anterior side.
- Thread the thread through the pin the same way and place the needle on the back.
- This is how it will be stitched. As shown by the white line in the photo.
- Tie with knots after sewing.
- Cut off the thread. The pins will sew it up. After closing the non-fabric cover, the brooch modification tutorial is completed.
