Method/Steps
- < span class="step">1Tear the used newspaper into small pieces. Leave it in the sink to soak overnight.
- < span class="step">2The next day, grab two or three handfuls of soaked paper and put them in a blender. Fill about half full of water, start the blender, and blend the paper into soft pieces.
- < span class="step">3Put a piece of window glass in the sink. Fill about 7.5cm high of water, and apply the pulp in the blender to the glass.
- < span class="step">4Gently tilt the glass in all directions to spread the paper pulp evenly. Then lift the glass straight up so that your paper mache should be evenly spread over the glass.
5Use a towel to dry the area next to the glass and wring out the water absorbed by the towel. - < span class="step">6Place a piece of paper over the pulp.
- < span class="step">7Take a sponge in your hand and press the paper hard to absorb all the moisture from the pulp.
- < span class="step">8Lift the glass and turn it over so that the pulp is spread with the paper. Put it on a flat surface and it will dry overnight.
- < span class="step">9After the paper is dry, carefully peel it off from the dry pulp.
Tips
- In the second step, you can add a drop or two of food coloring to color the paper.
