Tutorial on making paper baskets by hand
Paper weaving is very similar to bamboo weaving. By knitting and folding paper strips, you can easily complete some weaving production, such as the small paper basket we are going to make today. There was already a paper basket tutorial on the paper art website before (for detailed tutorials, please refer to: Paper Basket Tutorial), but today’s small paper basket will be simpler, and it can be used after being processed and fixed with white glue. There are many other functions, at least it is very good as a decoration!
1. First, use A4 printing colored paper as the basic material. Cut the paper strips with a width of 20mm. A total of 10 paper strips with a width of 20mm can be made.
2. Brown or other colored paper strips are also cut into the following paper strips in the same way.
3. Start arranging and weaving the paper strips, and use glue to paste the interlaced areas in the middle. A total of 12 paper strips are needed to interweave the paper strips, 6 green paper strips and 6 brown paper strips, ensuring that each paper strip is interlaced with other paper strips.
4. The specific arrangement of the braid is as shown in the picture, and the edges are cut into a quadrilateral and drawn with a pencil in the middle.A rectangular structure.
5. Then fold the other outer strips of paper down according to the rectangular structure drawn in the middle.
