The Haida people live in the forests of Canada and have a history of hundreds of years. All of their lives depend on the trees around them. The Haida people are very good at weaving. Of course, they did not start with paper weaving. They would use cedar bark and spruce roots to weave cushions, shawls, baskets, ropes and hats. Of course, baskets have the most extensive functions. They can not only be used for storage and collection, but also for cooking. Our basket is made of paper. Although it does not have those seemingly incredible functions, the weaving method is the same. We can at least use it to carry things. Let’s try it.
