Production of exquisite gift boxes

Make a simple gift box, decorate the small box with your own creativity, and give the person who receives the gift a surprise! It all starts with simple cardboard and you can do it too!

First you need to prepare 1 piece of thin cardboard (recommended value: 7 3/4" x 9" [unit: inches]) that will be used to make the box bottom; and a piece of cardboard of a slightly different color (recommended value: 6 7/8" x 8 1/8" [unit: inches]) will be Used to make box lids; carving knife, which will be used to make notches (generally a plastic knife will do); cutting board (if you don’t have one, you can also use a ruler); double-sided tape, tape; scissors; paint, and other small decorative materials.

1. First make cross notches as shown in the picture. The distance between the notches and the edge is controlled by yourself, but it must be the same! (Recommended value: 1 1/2" [unit: inches])

2. Use scissors to cut the two opposite sides as shown in the picture.

3. Lift each edge along the crease, and then restore it.
