If you like to drink red wine, you will definitely have a lot of red wine bottles at home. Its a pity to throw away these glass bottles, and they take up space if not thrown away. Is there any way to use them? A simple and practical way to recycle red wine bottles and make them into beautiful wine glasses!
The first thing is to remove the label on the bottle. You can first boil the bottle in boiling water until the water surface covers the label.
After boiling for a few minutes, you can easily peel it off. Be careful to put a towel on it when taking it out.
Prepare to cut the wine bottle. First, use a cutter to leave a circle of marks around the bottle. Pay attention to the marks to be even and level, and apply some grease to the area where the marks are left.
Have a pot of ice water ready for later use. Use a candle to heat a circle around the mark. Do not let the flame touch the glass. Let the mark expand when heated.
After heating, quickly put the red wine bottle into ice water, and the upper and lower parts will immediately separate.
Observe whether there are cracks along the circumference of the bottle. If not, you can proceed to the polishing process.
Use sandpaper to polish the cutting surface, being careful not to hurt your hands.
Grind hard and rub hard.
Until the cutting surface is no longer rough.
The beautiful wine glass is DIYed using waste materials. Isn’t it amazing (^o^)/~
