This is a simple but elegant vase that looks very simple, even to the extreme!
Most of the time, when a light bulb breaks, we just throw it away. However, through this process, we turn useless garbage into useful and beautiful handmade art. Isn’t this a very interesting thing!~

Material Tools:
Old light bulb
Pliers
Screwdriver
Goggles

1. Use pliers to peel off the round metal piece at the bottom of the bulb and remove it.

2. Next, you will want to remove the top black part. This can be tricky, I find the easiest way is to place one side of the pliers over the middle openingCenter, place the other side on the outside and clamp firmly. This allows the parts to disconnect.
Be sure to wear glasses, because the objects we DIY are made of glass and are very fragile.

3. Now we will remove the middle cylindrical section. In order to do this we will have to break the glass part inside. This part is tricky, but I find jamming the screwdriver in is the most effective method. Afterwards, you can dump the pieces out and dispose of them properly.

4. Now you can rinse the bulb, making sure all glass fragments are removed.

5. Your bulb vase is ready! Add a flower or two, make a wire stand or hang it with some string. Whichever way you choose, just be creative and make it fit your style. I used an old bottle cap as a stand~
