It feels like a pity to throw away some of the old things at home or sell them for scrap, and I always want to renovate them and reuse them. This old TV has been piled in the corner for a long time, and I finally decided to transform it into a fish tank for further use. The idea is to retain the frame of the TV and replace the parts inside with an aquarium!
First prepare an antique TV that includes the entire TV cabinet. If you don’t have one, just stand by and envy it!
Pick up the screwdriver and start disassembling it. Take out the picture tubes and everything else inside the TV.
The wooden boards on the back of the TV cabinet need to be carefully disassembled and then put back together in the end.
The TV screen must also be disassembled carefully to avoid breaking it.
Just keep the knobs, they look good as decoration.
The next step is to measure the dimensions inside the TV. Make sure you don’t make a mistake, otherwise the aquarium will not fit in and it will be over.
Customize the aquarium according to the internal dimensions of the TV cabinet.
AquaticFirst equip the oxygen valve, fake stone decoration, etc. that the box should have.
Some space should be reserved inside the TV cabinet to place motors or fluorescent lamps, etc. What, you’ve already ordered it? Too impatient. . .
After placing the aquarium, installing the motor and fluorescent lamp, put the back panel of the TV cabinet back on.
The DIY fish tank in the shape of an antique TV is completed.
Doesn’t it look great when placed at home?Go to the second-hand market and buy one and try it out!
