Tools and Materials Required:
-Tin can-candle wax-candle wick-wax wick holder-double boiler-wooden chopsticks or bamboo skewers.
Handmade candle making steps:
1. Melt a small amount of wax, dip the candle wick into a thin layer of wax juice, take it out and let it dry.
2. Clean the iron can, hold the wax core with the first bit of wax to fix it on the bottom of the can, wrap the wax core several times with chopsticks, and place it on the bottle.
3. Use a double boiler to melt an appropriate amount of wax for making candles. Be careful about the heat when melting.
4. After the candle melts, pour it into the tin can. If the top of the candle near the wax core is not smooth and dry, it means there may be air bubbles. You can use chopsticks to insert the candle while it is still soft to release the air inside, and add some melted wax liquid on the top to make it soft. Gotta be smooth.
5. Let the finished candle dry for about 24 hours, trim the wax wick neatly, and a beautiful retro candle/candleholder is completed~
