What is introduced below is the use of excess wooden floor waste to make fashionable and creative bookshelves. It is not only environmentally friendly and saves money, but also enriches our lives in the process of handcrafting. The wooden floor is connected with steel wires and supported by two metal frames. The bookshelf is arc-shaped, like a small bridge, and books placed on it will not fall easily. For specific bookshelf DIY steps, please refer to the detailed illustrated tutorial below.
Tools and Materials:
Screws, iron frames, steel wires, hacksaws, electric drills, pens, and excess wooden floors.
Production steps:
Saw the floor into 14 pieces, increase or decrease according to your needs.
Use a pen to mark the positions at equal distances from both ends of the wooden strip, and then use an electric drill to drill holes.
Use steel wire to string together small wooden strips. If you want to leave a gap in the middle, you can add metal spacers to make it more beautiful.
The wooden blocks at both ends are installed with iron frames
Fix the iron frame to a suitable location on the wall.
The completed bridge-shaped bookshelf is very artistic. If you like it, try making it by hand~
