Raising flowers and plants in life can beautify the space and cultivate our sentiments, but there is also a problem. When traveling far away, we worry about the plants drying up due to lack of water. It would be great if there was a device that could water the plants regularly every day. ~~. The following craft work will introduce to you the DIY hand-making of an automatic watering machine. Find the large bucket of mineral water bottles left after drinking water at home and make a simple hand-made one. But please note that this automatic watering device can only water plants that like water, otherwise the plants will be soaked to death. If you have kittens or puppies at home, you can also consider DIYing one as an automatic water feeder for pets~
Materials:
Utility knife;
○ AB glue (if not available, you can use other waterproof glue instead);
○ Large bucket of mineral water bottle (guaranteed water volume!) (later it turns out that it doesn’t need to be too big);
○ 2 straws;
○ Transparent tape;
○ Thermos (used to compare with bottles^_^).

How it works
The working principle diagram of the automatic watering machine.
1. Punch a hole in the wall of the mineral water bottle, try to be careful to avoid making the hole too big and difficult to handle. Arrange them one up and down, pay attention to the opening position, and don't leave too far from the bottom of the bottle.
2. Insert 2 straws and use tape to fix the long part of the straws together.
3. Trim the lower end of the straw to make one long and one short (see schematic diagram).

4. Mix AB glue at 1:1, then apply it to the connection between the straw and the bottle wall, and seal it.
5. After the glue dries, fill it with water, close the cap tightly, and you can water your favorite flowers!
