The following is about DIY darts made of stainless steel chopsticks and how to make darts. It is difficult to make by hand, tools are not easy to obtain, and the production process is also dangerous, so please be careful!
Materials needed: iron nails, stainless steel chopsticks, electric drill set (emery saw, tungsten steel milling cutter, wool wheel, polishing paste), hard plastic sheet, scissors, small screws.
Step 1: A stainless steel chopstick like this.
Step 2: First cut the tip of the chopsticks to leave a hole.
Step 3: Saw here again.
Step 4: Find a nail of suitable size and put it in. The nail goes in and out from the big end of the pipe. If the nail is too small and cannot get stuck in the pipe, just wrap a few sealing rings around it. In short, the nail must be stuck in the pipe.
Step 5: The remaining long tube becomes the length of the dart. My saw has a limited width and can only go up to here. (The one on the left is the dart body, the one on the right is the extra one, don’t turn it upside down)
Step 6: Since the dart body you just cut out is larger at one end and smaller at the other, you can insert a set of nails into the head from the big end (if the nail head cannot be inserted, use an emery drill to grind it down again
) After entering, it gets stuck on the small end and cannot come out. That way you can drill holes in the body of the dart so that the holes fall just behind the nails
At this time, use a suitable screw to twist into the hole so that the nail head is stuck in the dart body front and back
After twisting in, the two sides were smoothed like this
Step ?: Cut a cross groove into the dart tail like this to fit into the directional plate of the dart tail. Put some weight in the tail to make the dart heavier. I used a 9cm long nail to saw off the nail head, wrap it with a sealing ring and put it in. Remember to put some weight in so that the dart can fly smoothly and powerfully.
Step ?+1: The directional board can be made into the shape you like, but the size should be suitable, as big as a walnut. And I cut it out of the lids of plastic food jars.
Step finally:
The effect is 3 meters away.
Warning: Darts are dangerous and must not be used to target people or animals! !
