"Hotel" built from recycled cement pipes

Hotel built from recycled cement pipes

The people sleeping in the cement pipes must be homeless people? Architectural design company T3arc doesn’t think so. They used recycled cement pipes to build a "Tubohotel" (Tubohotel), just south of Mexico City in the village of Tepoztlan. . The drive there from Mexico City takes about 45 minutes. This hotel is not only cheap but also very comfortable.

The concept of the pipe hotel was originally created by German designer Andreas Strauss in 2006, called the Daspark hotel. T3arc was inspired by Strauss and developed it into a two-story, triangular structure – two pipes on the first floor and one on the second floor, stacked together like a pyramid. Not only is the visual experience excellent, but it is also perfectly integrated with the surrounding environment.

The Tibohotel offers 20 rooms, each 2.44 meters wide and 3.5 meters long (8ftx11.5ft), simply furnished with a large bed, desk lamp, fan and storage cabinets under the bed. The only regret is that there is no room for a bathroom. Guests can use the hotels public bathrooms.
