The three-person team of designers Federico Venturi, Gianluca Savalli and Marco Righi spent three years developing a more durable and 100% recyclable umbrella - Ginkgo.
Ginkgo’s umbrella frame is made of polypropylene material, which ensures strength while maintaining a certain degree of flexibility. It uses a special connection method between different parts instead of the traditional screw chain connection, allowing the frame to be in the "joints" Some are more durable. An ordinary umbrella has about 120 parts when completely disassembled, but the Ginkgo only uses 20 parts, which also means less wear and longer life. Best of all, it can be thrown directly into the trash can for recycling.
