Have you ever thought about what the candy house in Grimm’s fairy tales, specifically designed to attract children, would look like if it appeared in real life? Australian artist Tanya Schultz, who loves eating candy, has taken the matter of eating candy to another level. In one realm, she used thousands of candies, combined with hundreds of kilograms of fine sugar, foam glue, glitter, paint and many colorful decorative items, to create an extremely dreamy Sugarland!!
Tanya Schultz established Pip & Pop studio in 2007. This creation was also published under the name of Pip & Pop. The room is covered with all kinds of candies and sprinkled with a large amount of colored sugar powder, creating a gorgeous visual illusion. It shows the utilitarian values ????shaped by the consumption-dominated modern era and how people are pulled between the material desires between excess and insufficiency.
From ancient myths, popular fairy tales to modern video games, everything is the source of inspiration for Tanya Schultzs creations. She has always embraced utopian ideals, and she has also presented her dreams to the world through her continuous creations. Through the sweet and dreamy candy wonderland, it contrasts the seemingly beautiful but illusory illusions in the real society.
The ground is covered with colorful candies, making people feel like they are in a fairy tale world!!
What will happen to the many colored candies of different sizes??
It turns out to be a rainbow!!!
The colorful settlements on the ground are like a gorgeous candy wonderland, and every inch of the land is very curious~
Of course, cute little animals are indispensable in a fairyland~ Don’t think that only children will be attracted to such dreamy artistic creations. Many adults are also captured by the sweet happiness floating in the air!
