Compared with chairs with fixed legs, I believe many people prefer to sit on chairs with wheels that can be moved at any time. They can be easily moved throughout the office by just kicking their legs, and their office efficiency is also much higher. But its okay in a small office. If I go to a farther place, my legs will feel weak.
Honda recently developed Uni CUb, an indoor electric bench trolley that eliminates the need to pedal when moving around the office. The bench car looks like a penguin. It is an improved version after the UX-3 was released in 2009. Like the previous version, it uses Hondas unique balance control technology. When sitting on it, you only need to tilt your upper body. It is not a problem to control the bench trolley to move forward, backward, left and right, or in diagonal directions, completely freeing up both hands to hold documents.
Compared with the previous generation product, the biggest improvement of this version is the adoption of a large-size all-directional drive and the addition of a small rear wheel for auxiliary steering, making the movement smoother.
Built-in lithium battery, battery life is about 6 kilometers, and the maximum moving speed can reach 6 kilometers/hour. It is very unrealistic to use it at a distance, but it still feels great to use it in the office, just like playing. With it, you won’t even bother running to get a glass of boiled water in the future, you can reach your destination just sitting down.
However, the purpose of the R&D team is not to make everyone lazy, but to help staff in libraries, museums and other places work more efficiently.
