1991
Beginning in 1991, Wayne Adams and Catherine King built this small island called Freedom Cove on the Pacific coast.
1992
They built their own houses, grew their own plants, and tried their best to build Freedom Cove in a way that did not interfere with nature.
1998
Gradually, Freedom Cove has grown in size. In addition to residences, Freedom Cove also has greenhouses and art galleries, all decorated with recycled materials.
Not only do they grow the food they need, but they also use solar energy to generate electricity and live a self-sufficient life.
Although Freedom Cove has been under construction for 25 years, but Wayne Adams and Catherine King have not stopped yet. They will continue to inject more new ideas into this floating island.
