Words like wooden boards, electric drills, electric saws, folding rules are more likely to make people think of uncles with sweat beads and sawdust on their faces, but Ariele, a beautiful carpenter from California, completely breaks our imagination.
Her studio is clean and bright, beyond our imagination of a carpenters work. The studio is decorated fresh and lovingly with green plants. Various carpentry tools show the owner’s professionalism and skill. Even the wood chips at the feet seem to have become decorative works of art.
After graduating from art school in New York, Ariele set up a small studio in her living room and began making her favorite furniture. Starting from building myself a low cabinet and a table, I slowly integrated my hobbies into my work and realized my dream step by step. In less than a year, I had a small real studio.
She spent six months decorating and designing her fathers restaurant in California, traveling with her best friends, collecting discarded wood and old chairs along the way, and then renovating them. Every little bit, she shows everyone her love for her work, and maybe you can feel her passion too.
