Many times, people will look at the world based on their own "impressions". For example, when talking about Muslims, keywords such as ISIS, war, and terror will appear in their minds. However, before drawing such a conclusion, how many people really take it seriously to understand their religion, culture and national conditions? No matter what kind of belief they have, the "art" introduced next transcends all kinds of differences.
The artist used a total of 164 feet (nearly 50 meters) of silk to complete this shimmering work.
The beauty of handwritten text, through the handwriting of 33-year-old artist Tünzale Memmedzade, once again reveals the charm that printing cannot achieve. It took this painter from Azerbaijan, the "Land of Fire," three years to complete the Quran, which was transcribed on black silk with gold and silver ink. The gorgeousness and meticulousness of the finished product also reveal her piety and patience.
The origin of this artistic creation began when Memmedzade discovered that no one had copied the Quran onto silk before, so she used about 1.4 liters of gold and silver ink, which was about 29 x 33 cm thin enough to transmit light. On the silk pages, word by word, this unique work of art was copied by hand with the most serious attitude.
The time-honored traditional characters are swayed on the silk that is so thin that it seems invisible. When you gently lift the page, the metallic luster dances in the air.
