Lockheed Martin is an American aerospace manufacturer that recently built the Fortis Exoskeleton for the Navy SEALs, one of the U.S. Special Forces. This "reinforced iron frame" that does not require power support is mainly used to help resist equipment. After precise calculation and ergonomic design, it can reduce the load of the equipment carried by the operator while ensuring flexibility. The weight is transferred to the ground, which greatly saves the operators effort and avoids injuries such as muscle strain. It has been tested to digest at least 36 pounds (about 16kg).
