A three-wheeled truck powered by animal excrement. This is not a concept vehicle or a model vehicle, but a real vehicle that works in the zoo. Engineers hired by the zoo select usable parts from animal waste and organic matter in garbage trucks and compress them into hard fuel pellets. The fuel pellets are then stuffed into the trucks specially designed engine, which generates high amounts of heat without the use of oxygen.
In this high temperature, a gas called "Syngas" is produced, which is a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen. Its combustion produces energy and is ultimately output to power the vehicles battery.
