Today, the editor wants to teach something different. Today we will learn to make love knitting baskets. Are you friends not interested in knitting? The difference from the past is that this time origami is weaving, just like knitting Weaving a heart is just like a basket, and the difference is that the shape and color can be changed by using different colors. Come with me to learn how to weave a heart.
Step 1:
Start with 8.5" x 11" paper. Fold in half from bottom to top.
Step 2:
Cut a section 3 inches wide (sizes can vary, but 3" is a good enough size to work with kids).
Step 3:
Cut the top corners a little to make them round. This will be the loosening (unfolding) force on the paper.
The shear strip is approximately 3.25 inches long
For a 3×3 woven basket, cut the paper so there are 3 strips. Start cutting upward from the folded edge toward the top of the circle.
Step 4:
Prepare the second piece of contrasting color paper. Rotate one of the papers so that it is perpendicular to the first sheet, as shown below.
Step 5A:
In Pry 1. Push the paper so that the tape is one beyond the layer of tape 2 between open tape 1 and slip tape A.
Step 5B:
In the next steps you want the white paper to be on top so you can start the checkerboard pattern.
Pry open the layer between strip A and slider 2. Push the white paper past strip 3.
Step 5C:
Now, the red paper you want is visible, so pry off strip 3 and have the slider in between the 3 layers.
Step 6:
The first line is complete. Shuffle the paper up a bit so you can work in row 2. Repeat the process with band B, except now, you want the first panel to be white so you can make the checkerboard pattern permanent.
Step 7A:
