The origami method of a three-dimensional snail is a personal design. It is very simple. If you are interested in learning, please read the steps below. Sorry, only real photos, no folded pictures.
1. It is best to use paper with different colors on both sides.
2. The shell side faces up. Valley fold.
2. Bisect the crease in the lower right corner. Note that it should be light and only the lower right corner.
3. The crease connecting two points. Pay attention to the intersection between this step and the previous step.
4. Turn over. Pass the intersection point just mentioned and fold upward.
5. Turn back.
6. Fold both sides to the middle.
7. Make creases across all layer corner bisectors.
8. Make creases across all layer corner bisectors.
9. Crease through the corner bisector of all layers except the last layer.
10. Fold along the valley of the crease.
11. Fold the rabbit ears on both sides.
12. The three corners of the rabbit ear fold are all corner bisector creases.
13. This step is a bit messy. Close 3 creases at the same time. A new small corner will be formed.
14. Repeat 12 and 13 on the other side.
15. Fold in half.
16. There are already creases along the edge and three consecutive folds.
17. Open.
18. There is no reference point in this step, the valley is folded and the front end is folded at the same time.
19. Change the direction of the two segment fold creases.
20. Repeat on the opposite side.
21.Collapse.
22.Open this section.
23. Fold the previous layer upward.
24. Close.
25.Open again. (Sorry, this was my mistake)
26. Turn it inside and fold over the black part of the previous step. Flatten the pulled paper.
27. The back is the same. close.
28. The head has 2 horns, one of which is wrinkled, exposing the small horn inside, and flattening the smaller horn.
29. Same on the reverse side.
30. Pay attention, it’s starting to become three-dimensional. The upper section of the shell is folded to form a three-dimensional structure.
31. Open to the inside, fold the valley, and lock the upper step fold.
32. The yellow part below is folded 90 degrees, and the back is the same.
33. Shape it according to personal preference, trim the tentacles thinly (my paper is a bit thick, so I can’t shape it carefully), and it’s done.
