Seahorses are named because their heads are bent at almost a right angle to their bodies. They look quite like horses on land. Share a simple and beautiful seahorse origami tutorial with detailed explanations. If you like this sea creature that is not good at swimming, just follow it~
Draw lines on square paper.
Fold one side toward the center line, leaving a crease.
Fold it the same way here.
Close by pressing the crease left.
Press the crease flat.
Fold both sides in half toward the center line, leaving a crease.
Fold up the crease you just made into a diamond shape (after making the line, hold the corner pointed to in step 6 and turn it up, which is the same step as folding a paper crane).
Fold again toward the center line, leaving a crease.
Fold inward according to the crease left (that is, sandwich it between the layer of paper with solid lines and the layer of paper with dotted lines, as shown in the picture below after completion).
After completion, repeat on the other side (the solid line is the mountain line, the dotted line is the valley line and fold inward).
Turn over to the back and fold both sides in half toward the center line.
Fold A toward B, leaving a crease. The two angles A and B are equal, that is, the upper angle is bisected.
Repeat on the opposite side when finished.
Fold in half.
Fold one side of the rhombus to the left.
Fold the remaining creases into sections, which is to change the "I" shape in the side view into a "Z" shape.
Fold the triangle upward.
Fold up again.
Turn the head out at a suitable angle (press both sides of the dotted line and turn it to the right at the same time).
Section break.
Create the seahorses mouth.
Fold down according to the crease section.
Make a crease along the red line and fold it inwards.
How to fold the tail: first open the top layer of paper, then turn it inward according to the crease left in the previous step.
Open.
Fold in half toward the center line.
Fold it at the appropriate angle.
Turn some of the sharp corners back and round them.
The cute origami seahorse is finished.
Supplement to step 10: the process of folding inward.
