Production process
Making petals: The petals are divided into three sizes: small, medium and large. There are 12 small petals, 8 medium petals and 4-6 large petals. The number of flower pieces can be adjusted based on the actual situation.
Shape the foam ball: Shape the top 2/3 into a cone shape, cut it several times, do not cut it too deep at once.
Cut the petals: Cut the paper vine into ends according to the size of the petals, then cut according to the template. You can fold and cut multiple petals at one time.
To make petals: roll the petals with an awl, poke them on an unused piece of cloth, and squeeze them into shape. Then unfold and roll the petals 2 times. Then shape the petals, smooth the middle with your fingers, gently scrape the top and sides of the petals with your fingers to make waves, and finally make the natural shape of the petals.
Apply petals: attach small petals first, then middle petals and large petals. Glue white latex to the center and both sides of the petals, and stick them counterclockwise on the shaved foam ball. When attaching the petals, pay attention to staggering the petals to create a layered feel.
To make calyx and leaves: 5 pieces of calyx, cut them out and twist them. The leaves are made of two pieces combined into one leaf, with a thin wire sandwiched between them, and the veins of the leaves drawn with fingernails.
