Materials: crepe paper, iron wire, sewing thread
Step 1:
Cut strips of crepe paper (or you can use double-sided paper). The length of each strip is approximately 13 cm and the width is 4 cm.
The paper tape must be cut in the direction of the paper folds.
Step 2:
One tulip flower requires six slips of paper.
Step Three:
Gently fold in half and fold gently.
Step 4:
Twist in the center along this crease, as shown in the image below. Make a few twists like this (3-4 times).
Step 5:
After twisting, fold one half of the paper over the other, pressing them together and shaping them a bit. The paper used here is single sided - so make sure the colored side is facing up when you place one half on the other side.
Step 6:
Cut along the open side of the piece to get it shaped like a petal.
Step 7:
Now twist the paper to secure the end.
Step 8:
Repeat the above steps to make a total of six petals.
Step 9:
Now for the flower stamens, take a piece of wire and glue on a small cotton ball to make an oval shape at the top.
Step 10:
Holding a petal together with the stamens as shown.
Step 11:
Hold the wire with the petals and start wrapping the petals around it with sewing thread.
Keep trying to tie more petals together.
Step 12:
Here is the flower with all six petals tied together. Secure the knot and cut off any excess thread.
Step 13:
We now start wrapping the green tape from the calyx to the bottom of the wire.
Here is the finished tulip flower.
We are going to make some leaves now...
Step 14:
Cut out a piece of green crepe paper, cut it into a leaf, and place a thin wire on top.
Step 15:
Step 15: Cut out another piece and glue it on top of the first piece. This makes the leaves thicker and can look more natural.
Step 16:
Just stick the prepared leaves 3cm or 4cm under the flower receptacle.
You can make a few more flowers (the colors do not have to be the same)
