Sunflowers are a flower that many friends like because sunflowers always think about the sun and chase the light, symbolizing the yearning for life. Everyone should know about Van Goghs sunflowers, but the editor believes in the handicrafts of sunflowersorigami Many people don't know. Today I will share with you the steps of making a sunflower origami. Lets learn how to make origami in an easy and simple way. Lets start it together!
Tools/Materials Required:
1 piece of colored A4 paper; 1 pair of scissors
Illustration of the steps of sunflower origami:
1. Fold the crease.
2. Fold the two corners of the triangle upward to form a square.
3. Transform into a kite shape.
4. Cut into an inverted triangle.
5. Fold the tip of the triangle upward. Note: If the tip protrudes a little beyond the base of the triangle, the center of the flower will be larger.
6. The tip protrudes from the base of the triangle.
7. Spread the paper out (in a regular octagon) and the creases should be obvious enough.
8. Turn the paper over to the back.
9. Fold out the mountain line/valley line. Blue is the mountain line and yellow is the valley line. This step is a bit tedious but important. If you don’t fold the crease clearly, it will be difficult to fold it in the next step.
10. A flower petal is a triangle shown in the red block instead of a kite shape shown in the green block.
11. Start folding the petals according to the mountain line and valley line folded in the previous step.
12. The areas I painted are the petals, and the center part of the flower should be concave downwards.
13. All eight petals are folded.
14. Divide the petals into left and right halves and flatten them into an inverted trapezoid shape. Fold the lower right corner of the inverted trapezoid upward.
15. Fold the lower right corner of the inverted trapezoid upward. Each petal is folded like this. There are eight petals in total.
16. Turn the petals outward, as shown in the red area (the red area is roughly a triangle). You must use "turn" instead of "fold". Otherwise, it will look very rigid when done that way.
17. Demonstration of "turning over petals".
18. Turn over the second petal.
19. All eight petals are turned over.
20. Carefully arrange the petals so that the center of the flower is ball-shaped, and you’re done!
