Detailed origami tutorial for sunflowers, you can fold a cute sunflower using only a piece of paper! If you don’t understand anything during the origami process, you can refer to the author’s other tutorial [How to Fold Clivia], where the more difficult steps are explained.
Prepare a square piece of paper, the sunflower looks like yellow drops.
Fold it in half.
Fold the upper left corner to the center of the bottom edge (there is an opening at the bottom edge).
Turn over to the wrong side and fold the upper left corner to the center of the bottom edge as well.
Look at what the bottom edge looks like.
Open it and pay attention to the small red arrow.
The shape after unfolding is actually the basic folded double triangle shape.
Fold it, ignoring the crease on the left.
Open the small triangle folded in the eighth step, and place the square with the opening facing upwards.
The remaining 3 points are the same and the picture is completed.
Cut off the shadow part.
Get a triangle.
Expand and finally complete an octagon.
Fold any bottom edge to the center line.
This step is the most important. Fold the right point to the left point (pencil circle).
Turn over.
Fold the rest in the same way. As a reminder, no matter which bottom line you fold, you must aim at the center line of that bottom line!
Lift up a small corner.
The rest is the same. If you fold it down, it will press the other corner. It doesn't matter, just fold it.
Turn over.
Fold the bottom edge toward the center line.
Open as shown.
Turn over.
Fold it like this.
The rest is the same.
Turn over again.
Expand.
Finished the origami sunflower!
