How can paper flowers be so realistic and beautiful! David Austin roses are even prettier than real flowers. Just make a few and put them on a wooden plate for a beautiful decoration!
Material preparation: crepe paper, green wire, green tape, glue.
Cut the two long sides of the rectangular crepe paper into tassels, and fix the wire from the middle to make stamens.
Use the thumb pads of both hands to open the middle part of the crepe paper petals, and gently pull the edges of the petals to create wavy edges.
Roll the petals together from small to large, remember to open in the same direction, and do 4-6 groups.
Adhere the assembled petal rolls around the stamens.
Wrap 2-3 layers to make a large flower shape. Note that the outer petals are higher than the inner ones.
Use an awl to curl the edges of the outermost petals.
Adhere the outer 5-6 petals.
Cut out 3-5 leaves from the green crepe paper and wrap them on the green wire with green tape.
Cut 5 more pieces of calyx.
Combine paper flowers, calyxes and flower stems to complete the production of super beautiful roses~
