There are three types of flowers: red, white, and yellow. According to legend, red flowers bloom in hell and white flowers bloom in heaven. What I want to share with you below is the origami diagram of the three-dimensional Higan flower. Prepare the materials and tools: a good compass, a ruler, a protractor, a pencil, 7 pieces of red paper and one piece of green paper.
First take a square piece of paper. Here we use white paper so that everyone can see clearly.
Fold into a square.
Open.
Use a compass to draw a circle as large as possible.
The circle is drawn.
Use a protractor to draw points every 72° and connect them to the center.
Connect the lines on the circle.
Cut it out to get a pentagonal paper.
This is replaced with red paper. Fold diagonally.
Fold along the line.
Looking from top to bottom.
Fold toward the midline.
Open.
Use scissors to cut, not too much.
The cut appearance.
When folded, it looks like a five-pointed star.
Fold along the previous line.
Put one side up.
Fold it in half along the center line (isn’t there a line in the middle? Just fold it toward that line).
Press down (open along the midline and press down).
What it will look like after everything is healed.
Turn over to the smooth side.
Fold toward the middle crease.
Everything is folded like this.
Use a pen to roll down the petals.
A paper flower is folded.
Fold six flowers like this.
Take a piece of green paper.
Roll into a stick.
Combined.
Take a piece of red paper and cut it into strips.
Stick it up.
The beautiful and coquettish Higanhua origami is completed!~
