The beautiful woven baskets are handmade, not from bamboo and rattan, but from cardboard and newspaper! It’s really hard to tell just by looking at the picture above. It turns out that baskets can be woven like this~~~
Use cardboard to make the bottom of the basket, and prepare a piece of cardboard to roll out the basket body as a weaving prop.
Drill a circle of holes along the edge of the bottom of the basket.
Then the newspaper comes on stage, rolled into a thin stick, and passed through the bottom of the basket as shown in the picture above.
If there are places that need to be joined during the weaving process, use hot melt glue to stick them.
Finally, spray some color and it will look beautiful~
