1. Rope mirror
When mom looks in the mirror, she'll love it too when she catches a glimpse of herself in this stylish rope mirror.
Preparation method: Use 1/2 to 3/ 4 inches of nylon rope
cover the frame of the mirror, braiding part for decoration effect and hot glue the rope. Add decorative bands with sisal string to the center of the top and sides.
2. Extra large quilt rug
For moms who like quilt rugs!
Manufacturing Method:
First, cut a piece of plywood to the desired size (ours was 4 square feet).
Draw a quilt block on wood with a pencil (here, a double star style), draw straight lines with a ruler or painters tape, and paint with acrylic paint.
Trim the nail 1/2 inch along the edge to finish.
Can be used to tilt or hang on the wall.
3. Personalized Embroidery Hoop
Sit next to mom and celebrate her Happy Mother’s Day with an embroidery hoop featuring her tiara.
How to make:: Place a piece of fabric on the embroidery frame and embroider the required letters. If necessary, adjust the fabric to ensure the letter is in the center of the ring. Cut off excess fabric, leaving an inch of hanging material. Use tape to attach the tabs to the inside of the hoop.
4. Clipboard Frames
When it comes to gallery walls, frames can get expensive. Mom might love this super clever way to display her favorite photos or family portraits.
How to make: Just cut the print to an old-fashioned clipboard. Thread a leather jewelry cord through the clip, tie a knot at the top, and hang with thumbtacks.
5. Lavender Bag
How to make: Cut a 2 x 4-inch rectangle from the handkerchief. Fold in half crosswise crosswise, pattern facing inward. Sew the sides together with a sewing machine; turn the pouch right sides out. Fill with dried lavender. Hand-sewn opening closure.
