Mothers Day is coming soon. Have you thought about what to give to your dearest mother? As a symbol of Mothers Day, pink carnations are often used as flowers dedicated to mothers. Today our handmade tutorial will teach you how to make a Mothers Day colored paper carnation. The production method is also very simple. Let’s learn it together.
First, we cut the colored paper into a circle. Then fold it in half again and cut out a flower shape along the edge. As shown in the picture
Then we used green wire to string these petals and gather them together to make a carnation bouquet. Then we cut out leaves from green cardboard and set aside.
Then we used double-sided tape to stick the cut leaves to the green wire, then rolled up the green cardboard and stuck it under the flower cluster to make the shape of the calyx.
Finally, we wrapped the wire with green ribbon, then used the same method to make a few more flowers and put them into the flower basket. In this way, our Teachers Day handmade colored paper carnations are ready.
