Zhang Yongshou is the only paper-cutting artist in my country who has won the title of Master of Chinese Arts and Crafts. Mr. Zhang Yongshou was born in a paper-cutting family and is a representative figure of Yangzhou paper-cutting. In his 60-year paper-cutting career, Zhang Yongshou created thousands of exquisite paper-cut works. Most of these paper-cut works have been lost among the people, so the study of Zhang Yongshous paper-cut works has also fallen into a new era. However, as peoples awareness of collecting continues to increase, many of Zhang Yongshous works have been rediscovered.

Mr. Xu Fuhua, a collection enthusiast from Weishan, Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province, accidentally discovered a very exquisite paper-cut work when he was sorting out the collections he had collected in the early years. Xu Fuhua relied on his many years of collecting experience and collecting intuition to feel that this was not a simple paper-cut work. After confidently looking at the patterns and textures of the paper-cutting, Xu Fuhua carefully checked the information and found that the paper-cutting work was actually Mr. Zhang Yongshous "Ten Scenes of Beijing", which made Mr. Xu Fuhua overjoyed.

It is understood that "Ten Scenes of Beijing" is one of Mr. Zhang Yongshous masterpieces. Zhang Yongshous work uses ten famous scenic spots in Beijing as the theme of his paper-cut creation. The themes involved in the heckles include: Cangbai Sacrifice to Heaven, Purple Gold Temple, Spring Dawn on Stone Boat, Winding Great Wall, Leap of Nine Dragons, etc. Each of the ten works is exquisite, and next to each work is marked "Created by Zhang Yongshou in 1974". Since the works are all cut and created independently, they can be taken out to be viewed and played with individually.
