Including "Dragon Boat Festival customs" in three provinces and four places
Four years ago, South Korea’s “Gangneung Dragon Boat Festival” was successfully applied for World Heritage status, which made the Chinese people feel sad. In October last year, entrusted by the Ministry of Culture, Hubei Province submitted the application form and related materials for the "Chinese Dragon Boat Festival" to UNESCO on behalf of China. It is reported that the projects applied for this "Chinese Dragon Boat Festival" include the "Dragon Boat Festival Customs in Qu Yuans Hometown" in Zigui County, Hubei Province, the "Xisai Shenzhou Festival" in Huangshi City, the "Dragon Boat Festival Customs on the Bank of Miluo River" in Miluo City, Hunan Province, and the "Dragon Boat Festival Customs on the Bank of Miluo River" in Miluo City, Jiangsu Province. "Suzhou Dragon Boat Festival Customs" consists of four parts, and the application materials are jointly "packaged" by the three provinces. The "Dragon Boat Festival customs" in the above three provinces and four places were included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage lists in 2006.

It is reported that the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties all had government-run weaving bureaus in Nanjing, which specialized in weaving brocades for the royal family.
In addition, Chinas selected items on the World Intangible Cultural Heritage List include the following items: Mulberry Silk Weaving Technique, Fujian Nanyin, Guizhou Dong Song, Guangdong Cantonese Opera, "Gesar" Epic, Zhejiang Longquan Celadon, Qinghai Regong Art, Tibetan Opera, Xinjiang "Manas", Mongolian Khumai, Gansu Huaer, Xi'an Drum Music, ChaoXian ethnic minority music and dance, calligraphy, seal cutting, paper-cutting, woodblock printing, traditional wooden structure construction techniques, and Mazu beliefs and customs.
