As the National Day approaches, artists in Wenling, Zhejiang Province have created paper-cut works celebrating the National Day, expressing the folk artists’ best wishes to the motherland. The picture shows on the afternoon of September 29, Chen Rongxin and his wife, a "paper-cutting couple" folk artist from Wenling City, Zhejiang Province, showed off the paper-cutting work "Long Live the Motherland" they had just created.
It is understood that Chen Rongxin started paper-cutting creation in 1959 and has been cutting for 50 years now. He has created more than 90 works such as the sports-themed work "Chasing the Deer on the Beach" and the news-themed "Memory of Wenchuan". This painting "Long Live the Motherland" took Chen Rongxin and his wife two days and two nights to complete.
