Rose flowers are very beautiful, and they are also the best gift for young people to express their love. Here I will teach you how to fold beautiful roses out of paper. I believe your lover will know how to fold them when he sees them. Like it very much. The method of folding roses is a classic tutorial for folding budding paper roses, and it is easier to make than other origami roses.
Method/Steps
- 1Prepare some colored square paper.
- 2Facing the colored side of the paper.
- 3Fold the paper in half so that the decoration on the edge of the paper is folded inside. Open the paper and then flip it over again.
- 4Draw a black line along the crease on the back. People will see the colored side of the rose, so drawing a black line on the back won't be noticeable.
- 5 Fold the upper and lower parts of the paper in half again. Now the paper should be divided into four equal parts by the creases. Draw two black lines on the two new folds as well. .
- 6Rotate the paper a quarter of the way and repeat the last two steps. When finished, there will be 16 small squares on the paper.
- 7Fold the paper diagonally so that its upper right corner aligns with its lower left corner. Repeat this step on the other side so that its top left corner aligns with its bottom right corner. In this way, through the two diagonal creases, there are 4 triangles on the paper. Trace these two creases with a red pen.
- 8Fold the paper in half.
- 9Fold the paper in half online about one third of the way down, just like folding a letterFold the letter you want to put into the envelope three times.
- 10Open, then rotate 90 degrees. Repeat the last two steps. Trace these creases with a green pen.
- 11Press and hold a corner of the paper. Use the mountain fold method to fold upward along the black and red lines. Then, use the valley fold method to fold inward along the green line.
- 12Press the crease once with your hands. Don't touch the middle part of the paper.
- 13Press and hold the four corners of the middle part. You should see a small flat square.
- 14Turn the paper over, facing the coloredside.
- 15Mark the four largest parts of equal area on the paper. The upper left corner is marked 1, the upper right corner is marked 2, the lower left corner is marked 3, and the lower right corner is marked 4.
- 16Puff up the fourth part, fold the vertical border of the second part in half and rotate it 90 degrees counterclockwise. Make sure the two parts are accurately aligned.
- 17Rotate the paper 90 degrees and continue the last two steps until all 4 parts are completed.
- 18Tie these 4 parts together to form a cup-like shape. The middle of the colored side of the paper is the bottom of the rose, and the four sides are the petals of the rose.
- 19Turn the paper over from top to bottom. What you see now is the bottom of the rose.
- 20Stack the petals one by one.
- 21Insert the last petal below the previous petal. Turn the rose over to see the final effect.
