Want to play tricks with money? Lets teach you how to fold a ring with money. First, we fold a square ring with one dollar. Its very simple. After a while, the "1" on the banknote will become the "gem" of this ring. You can also use 5 US dollars, 10 US dollars, 20 US dollars banknotes to make rings. Of course, you can also use RMB to express the meaning of failure. Now, dear friends, take out your bags and start folding the rings!
Method/Steps
- 1Open the bill and place it on a flat surface with the front side facing up. To flatten the banknote, it is best to use a relatively new banknote to fold. If it is an older wrinkled banknote, you can use an iron to iron it first.
- 2Fold the top edge down. Fold the upper white edge down, and then use your nails to flatten the crease, so that the white edge will not be visible after the ring is folded, and the ring will be thinner.
- 3Fold the lower edge upward. The lower edge is also folded upward to hide the white edge. Use your fingernail to flatten the crease.
- 4Fold the banknote in half up and down. Align the upper and lower edges, and then flatten the creases.
- 5Fold it in half again. Use your nails or a pen to press the creases into conformity.
- 6Check the creases to make sure there are no wrinkles inside.
- 7Turn over the note. Let the numbers face you.
- You can fold in the white edges on the left and right sides. Fold inward along the intersection of the white edge and the green part.
- 8Fold the paper up one third of the way to the right. This forms a 90° right angle. Here, the position of the crease adjusts the size of the ring.
- 9Put the folded part around the paper strip.Put the folded part down around the paper strip and fold it at the edge.
- 10Turn over.
- 11Wrap the remaining strips of paper into a circle. Put the longer part around from the back, and tuck the excess part under the shorter part.
- 12Fold out the "gem". Fold the part tucked behind the short paper strip back over the short paper strip.
- Reposition the number so that it is facing out.
- 13Call it done. Fold the remaining strip of paper back and tuck it under the "gem".
- 14Complete.
Tips
- Don’t lose the ring, it’s still a dollar after all.
- No glue or scissors are used in this guide.
- Do not wear it when washing your hands.
- You can also fold the ring out of white paper and decorate it yourself. Cut the white paper into the size of a banknote, 15.5 cm long and 6.6 cm wide.
- During the folding process, try to fold as neatly as possible, flatten the creases with a pen, or iron them with an iron.
- Fold the right angle in step 8 outward to make the ring larger, and fold it inward to make the ring smaller.
What do you want to prepare?
- U.S. bills of any denomination can be used for folding rings, but try to choose new and hard bills instead of old ones.
