How to make origami roses

1. 1Select paper. For small roses, use paper towels cut into stripes. For larger roses, use beautiful crepe paper. You can choose any color or material of paper.
2. 2Cut the paper. Cut the striped paper to 5-12.5 cm wide. To make a small rose, use paper less than 30 cm long. For large roses, use paper longer than 30 cm.
3. 3Origami. Flatten the paper, and fold the upper end down a quarter to get the three-quarters long part below. Fold the upper part down to get a complete, smooth petal.
4. 4Start folding roses. Roll inward from one end to make a spiral shape, and flatten the bottom to make a bud.
5. 5Complete the flowers. Continue the above steps and roll up all the paper. Twist the bottom to form the base of the flower, and use scissors to trim the corners to make the flower look more natural.
6. 6Wrap the wire. Wrap some wire around the base of the flower to keep the flowers tangled together. You can also cut the wire short to attach the flower to any decoration, or leave the wire long to create a fake stem. Enjoy playing!
