When I was a child, I would often play with origami paper balloons. Now that I have grown up, I have forgotten how to fold this paper balloon. Lets follow the illustrated tutorial on handmade origami balloons provided by the editor of the production department and relive the joy of childhood. If you have children, you can play origami with them. This three-dimensional paper balloon is very simple, lets take action! Using a square piece of paper, you can fold a three-dimensional ball/balloon or cube into which you can blow air like a small balloon, or even fill it with water to make water bombs!
Method/Steps
- 1Fold a square piece of paper along two diagonals. The crease should form an "X" on the paper (you can also write in the middle of the paper)
- 2Fold the paper in half downwards.
- 3Fold in the two corners as shown in the picture. Flat down.
- 4Fold the 45-degree angle of the triangle upward. Fold each corner on both sides to form a square diamond shape.
5Fold the left and right corners of the diamond toward the middle. The same goes for the other side. - 6Fold all the top corners into the gap created in the previous step as shown in the picture. Repeat this step for each corner.
- 7After turning it over, you can see the bottom without corners. Find the location of the hole in the middle of this side.
- 8Blow into the hole. The ball should be puffed up at this point - remember to keep the corners that were previously folded in, while other corners may need to be loosened a bit to allow the ball to puff up.
Tips
- Follow the instructions every step of the way, otherwise it will be difficult to fix if you mess up a step.
- If you have written a message on paper, hold it up to the light and look through the hole.
- If you want to make the balloon waterproof, line the inside with a layer of aluminum foil (do not use plastic wrap, which will tear due to the weight of the water). You can throw water balloons at each other like in a water balloon fight.
- If you fail and make a good balloon, don't improve on the old one. Just get a new piece of paper and weigh itNew start fold.
- If you want to use the ball to hold water, you can also use wax paper.
- If it doesn’t work, start folding again.
- If you want to make a water bomb, fill the hole with water.
- If you can't tuck the corners into the gap, you can use clear glue to secure them.
- You can also make the balloon waterproof by attaching plastic wrap to the uncolored inside.
- If you like, you can have a water fight and throw water bombs at each other.
Notes
- Decoupage may be required.
- Be careful not to hit people in the face when throwing water bombs. If you throw it too hard you may injure your face.
