This simple model uses a clever folding method to reveal the Scottish dogs head. This origami model looks abstract and does not have very detailed operations, but the overall effect is impressive and looks very elegant. The designer of this origami Scotch dog is Robert Neale. What you need to prepare is a 12cm square piece of paper.
1. Fold the opposite sides of the paper in half. After opening, fold the four sides to the midpoint.
2. Fold the right corner outward to expose the right edge so that the protruding part is one-third of the size of the triangle. Fold inward one-third of the left triangle close to the sharp corner.
3. Fold the entire model in half.
4. Lift up the upper layer, turn the triangle inside out, and then fold the back part to become the head. The triangle on the other side should also be turned out. The effect will be clear in the next picture.
5. What it looks like after both sides are completed.
6. Turn the inside part of the head out with your hands. At this point, the entire production is completed, and the origami Scottish dog can stand on the table.
