Step 6: The pleats (folds) behind the right side of the model are the left side of the model.
Step 7: Turn clockwise a quarter turn.
Step 8: Fold (fold back) the right half of the model behind the left half. Expand.
Step 9: A valley fold that spans from the "head" of the base of the butterfly model. The angles of the pleats vary, which will change the size of the ribcage. A convenient endpoint is the edge of the dollar mark from the quarter mark.
Step 10: Return the left wing to the left. Follow existing creases in one step
Step 11: Fold the side wings back to the right. Make the left and right wings symmetrical by adding the wingtips (green dots).
Step 12: Heres what it looks like. The ribcage is intact. The next steps will be to make the upper and lower wings. Open the model like a butterfly.
Step 13: Wrinkle the right wing behind the left wing. Follow the paper overlapping ridges.
Step 14: Expand the basic butterfly shape.
Step 15: Repeat the mountain fold on the left.
Step 16: Mountain folds (folds) of the wings. The crease should start from the "head" character of the butterfly wings. The position of the folds can be changed changing the size of the upper and lower wings.
Step 17: Swing the wings from the folded wings at the bottom of the valley. Make the fold expand the "head" butterflyButterfly has long low wings. The location of the folds may vary.
Step 17: Money Eds Butterfly Complete!
Please note that you can change the position of the wings and the chest fold. The butterfly on the left is folded in half to mark all the steps. The butterfly on the right is the fold in the middle crease which is not quite the case. It gives a slightly different look.
