Reading itself is a very interesting thing, but if you add more little excitement to reading, will it make the reading experience more comfortable? A previous handmade origami bookmark tutorial I believe made many people feel the beauty that comes from reading (see tutorial for details: Origami Dog Bookmark Making Tutorial). Today’s illustrated tutorial on handmade origami is to make a heart-shaped bookmark. It is also very interesting, but it is easier to make and you can use any paper! Try it now!
1. Start with a square piece of paper and choose your favorite color as the basic origami material. The paper used here is purple single-sided paper, that is, one side is purple and the other side is white. Using some colored Japanese paper would also work well.
2. Fold the paper in half diagonally to form a triangular origami structure as shown in the picture.
3. Then unfold the paper to leave the creases made in the previous step. Fold the other diagonal line of the paper in the same way to create a crease.
4. Then fold the upper and lower sides of the origami model in half. Then unfold, leaving creases.
5. Then fold the lower edge of the origami paper upward according to the upper dotted crease.
