The Lantern Festival is coming, it would be great to make a cool lantern to carry. I saw this three-dimensional five-pointed star lantern online. It is very beautiful, tall and has a happy color. I chose the same orange cardboard as the picture. You can also choose the color you like. Put an LED light with a button battery inside. Safe and beautiful.
Step 1: I was lazy and printed out the pictures I found on Du Niang. (Ask Du Niang directly: How to fold a three-dimensional five-pointed star)
Step 2: Use carbon paper to spread the picture on the colored paper.
Step 3: If you have a lot of carbon paper, you can make more copies at one time. It saves a lot of effort! You can freely play with the hollow patterns.
Step 4: Place something underneath and start carving.
Step 5: Scissors or knives can be used. You can use whatever you feel comfortable with. I carved them all with a carving knife.
Step 6: Carve out 5 pieces.
Step 7: Fold the adhesive area.
Step 8: Use double-sided tape to glue.
Step 9: Glue all five corners. Seeing five identical ones gives me a sense of accomplishment.
Step 10: Start assembling. If the paper is thicker, be sure to glue the adhesive joint tightly. Otherwise it will curl up.
Step 11: Stuff a few more small sensor electronic lights inside. The light comes on as soon as you clap your hands. It has a high-end atmosphere and is classy.
It can also be hung in a string as decoration. Add to the festive atmosphere.
